«En temps réel» is the last work from Philippe Cavaleri, sound & visual artist from Belgium.
Based on tapes (found, given, bought on flee market around the world ...), field recordings & philosophy, along with super 8 films from found footage & personal experimentation with this media...

It all started with tapes, found lying on the ground... Sound tests before lectures, or erased & recycled with remaining fragments of speeches (in many different languages, arabic chinese french russian... all mix together to create something like a new form of communication), small dictaphone tapes from answering machine or just containing hiss & noises...
Everything was there, waiting for a re-composition...
From banality to poetry...
